2 men and teenager injured in triple shooting in North Lawndale

CHICAGO (CBS) – Three people were hospitalized following a shooting Saturday night on the city’s West Side.

The shooting occurred around 8 p.m. in the 3600 block of West Douglas Boulevard in the North Lawndale neighborhood.

According to Chicago police, the victims were walking on the sidewalk when the shots were fired.

All three were taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital by the Chicago Fire Department.

A 22-year-old man was shot in the leg and was in moderate condition. A 33-year-old man was shot in the chest and is in critical condition. A 17-year-old man was shot in the lower body and is also in moderate condition.

As of Sunday, no arrests have been made.

Area 4 detectives investigated the circumstances of the incident.
