Driver killed in rollover accident in Tacoma, ramp to I-5 N closed

Tacoma police respond to a fatal crash on the I-5 North on-ramp on August 24, 2024.

TACOMA, Washington. – One person was killed in a single-vehicle rollover accident in downtown Tacoma near McKinley Park and City Center on Saturday afternoon.

The ramp from I-705 South to I-5 North will remain completely closed while the Washington State Patrol investigates.

Drivers are asked to plan their routes accordingly.
