Fatal UTV crash near Pocatello – LocalNews8.com

POCATELLO, Idaho – From an Idaho State Police press release: “The Idaho State Police are investigating a motor vehicle crash that occurred on August 24, 2024 at 5:28 p.m. at approximately 1800 Government Road in Power County.

A 48-year-old man from Pocatello, Idaho, was driving a yellow 2016 Yamaha Razor north on Government Road when the Razor left the roadway and overturned.

The driver of the Razor died of his injuries at the scene. His passenger, a 51-year-old man from Pocatello, Idaho, suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. The driver and passenger were not wearing helmets or seat belts.

The Power County Sheriff, Pocatello Police, Bannock County and Power County EMS responded to the scene.

The accident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.”
