Titans linebacker apparently suffers knee injury

Tennessee Titans linebacker Chance Campbell left the preseason game against the New Orleans Saints just before halftime with an apparent knee injury. A preseason standout with 16 tackles, one sack, one interception and two tackles for loss in two games was visibly frustrated as he made his way to the locker room.

Campbell is no stranger to injuries in his NFL career. He is now entering his third season and has played in just four regular-season games due to knee issues. He missed his rookie season in 2022 and most of 2023 due to a knee injury. His injury also compounds the Titans' problems at the inside linebacker position, where they lack depth behind starters Jack Gibbens and Kenneth Murray II. His return is listed as questionable, but his time is likely over.

This was not the only injury to the Titans in the first half. Defensive back Elijah Molden left the field and is being examined for a concussion.

We await an update on Tennessee's injury situation when head coach Brian Callahan speaks after the game.
