(FSM) Rising Nashville alternative/country rock artist Fimone explores themes of death and rebirth in his new single “Will,” out now. Recorded in New Orleans with Grammy-winning producer Greg Magers (Umphrey's McGee, Maggie Rose, Lupe Fiasco and Grammy-winning spoken word artist J. Ivy), “Will” reflects on the preciousness of life and encourages listeners to seize the moment. The track is the first single from Fimone's upcoming EP, Fascination, due out October 25, 2024.

“I had a near-death experience when I was 12,” Fimone said. “It shaped the rest of my life. When I wrote this song, I was going through intensive therapy. 'Will' is about remembering that there is only one way out and we have absolutely no idea when that will be. So let go and let it happen.”

“Will” and the EP “Fascination” were recorded in New Orleans’ last brothel, as Fimone discovered and researched the story of the late Madame Norma Wallace. Fimone’s journey – marked by overcoming small-town challenges and battling addiction – has led her to uncover Norma’s story, which led her to the Madame’s brothel/home. “Fascination” is also part of a larger creative project to be announced in early 2025.

“Will” offers fans a poignant and introspective look into themes of personal resilience, addressing living a bold and fearless life. With dynamic production and a vibrant mix of instruments, the track delivers an energetic sound that amplifies its powerful message. Fimone reflects on her past while embracing the future without fear, creating a magnetic soundscape that inspires courage and confidence.

“Fimone is a gift to those lucky enough to be close to her or to experience her art. Her unique perspective, fearlessness and love of life come through in her songs. Every time,” says “Will” producer and Grammy winner Greg Magers.

“In this life I’ve traveled / a thousand different ways / I only know where I came from / I don’t know where I’m going,” Fimone sings in “Will.”
