Famous faces react to rumors of an Oasis reunion

Jedward and Kay Burley are among the well-known faces who have expressed their hope for an Oasis reunion next year.

Liam Gallagher has fuelled rumours that he could get back together with his brother Noel following their acrimonious split in 2009, after writing on social media that he “never liked the word FORMER”.

According to The Sunday Times, industry insiders expect the brothers to perform a series of concerts in 2025, including shows at London's Wembley Stadium and Manchester's Heaton Park.

Following the reports, fans of the Manchester rock band increased their demands for the band to finally reform.

Irish duo Jedward celebrated the possibility of an Oasis reunion by re-releasing a video of John covering the band's 2022 hit “Wonderwall” with “American Pie” actress Tara Reid.

In the clip, both singers wore metallic silver outfits while singing the famous chorus in unison.

They captioned the post: “Celebrating the Oasis reunion.”

Sky News presenter Burley shared her excitement about the idea of re-forming the group by posting a photo of the Gallagher brothers on social media.

“Don't look back angry, guys. Please let it be true,” she wrote alongside the post on X, formerly Twitter.

Piers Morgan also shared a photo of himself posing for a photo alongside Liam, writing: “Oasis reunion? I'm mad about this” with a trio of clapping emojis.

All On The Board, known for their creative boards of the London Underground, dedicated a message to the Gallagher brothers on this occasion.

The introduction of the poetic message read: “From sharing a bedroom as young boys to conquering the world with rock 'n' roll that made us feel the noise; two brothers from Burnage had a dream and created magic together.”

In the caption, the account also thanked the couple for the “good times” and the “music and memories that will last forever.”

It continued: “I hope you get back together as brothers and if you reform Oasis that would be a bonus.”
