Wisconsin's most wanted man: Francisco Hernandez-Rodriguez wanted for shooting

A car crash that led to a shooting more than 2,000 miles away is being linked to a man who may be hiding in Milwaukee.

U.S. Marshals are searching for the person suspected of killing someone in Puerto Rico in November 2021.

“He took active steps to evade police and conceal his identity,” said the U.S. Marshal in charge of the case.

When police in Puerto Rico arrived at the scene, they thought the driver had died in the accident. However, after further investigation, they found something worse.

“The victim appeared to have several gunshot wounds to the back of the head,” the marshal said.

Investigators believe that 34-year-old Francisco Hernandez-Rodriguez was responsible for the shooting. He was charged in 2023.

By this time, according to US Marshals, he had already fled to the USA and his trail was traced to South Florida and here to Milwaukee.

“He left his life in Puerto Rico behind and came to Wisconsin,” the marshal said. “He built a whole new life here.”

Hernandez-Rodriguez goes by the nickname “Bebo”. He is 5'10″ tall and weighs 165 pounds. He sometimes shaves his head and has a beard.
