MADISON COUNTY, Indiana.– A Pendleton man was arrested Sunday morning on domestic violence charges.

State police said they served a search warrant at around 10 a.m. for the Pendleton home of 48-year-old Daniel Robert Penticuff for an incident that reportedly occurred on Saturday, August 24.

On Saturday, investigators say, Penticuff got into an argument with a woman at a home they both shared in Madison County. The argument escalated from verbal to physical, and the woman sustained injuries.

At some point, investigators say, she managed to escape Penticuff and go to a hospital for medical treatment.

Penticuff was questioned by police and eventually turned himself in. He is tentatively charged with domestic violence, false imprisonment and strangulation. All three charges are Class 6 felonies.

The SWAT team of ISP North supported the SWAT team of ISP Central in executing the search warrant.
