Frustrated by umpiring error, famous West Indian player takes off his helmet and smashes it with bat

West Indian star cricketer Carlos Brathwaite is considered to be one of the calmest and most composed players on the cricket field. The 36-year-old cricketer rarely got angry on the field and mostly enjoyed the moments with his teammates. However, fans got to see the angry Carlos Brathwaite in the Max10 league in West Indies.

The 2016 T20 World Cup winning star then took off his helmet and smashed it on the field. The star all-rounder also kept throwing his bat while making his way to the dugout area. The video of his evil act went viral on social media and left the cricket community in shock as fans had never seen Brathwaite like that on the field. The clip of his act was widely shared on social media.

The stylish right-hander was frustrated with the umpire's decision in the match. The on-field referee judged the disgraced West Indies All-rounder was caught behind Joshua Little's bowling. Afterwards, he was amused by the decision and stood still for many seconds. Later, the former West Indies star captain took out his frustration on his cricket equipment and smashed his helmet before throwing his bat. Carlos was dismissed in the third ball of the ninth over with just seven runs.

As for the match, New York Strikers posted a total of 104/8 in the 10 overs, courtesy of the outstanding performances of Mitchell Owen and Thisara Perera, who scored 22 and 16 runs respectively to break the 100-run mark. Notably, the total score of 104 runs proved to be enough as NWS defeated Grand Cayman Jaguars by 8 runs.
