Dog attack: Keshon Bullock bitten to death in a residential building on West Quincy Street in South Austin, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) — A man was mauled to death by dogs in a West Side apartment building Saturday night, officials said.

Chicago police said the 33-year-old man was found unconscious in the vestibule of an apartment building in the South Austin neighborhood in the 5500 block of West Quincy Street around 8:30 p.m.

The victim had several dog bites on his body and several dogs were found in the apartment, police said. The victim's condition was assessed on site.

The Cook County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 33-year-old Keshon Bullock of Chicago.

The man's death was ruled an accident and the coroner said he died from injuries sustained in a dog attack.

Officials did not initially provide any further information.
