Ankit Kalra and Insha Ghai rose to fame with their funny couple videos on Instagram. The couple got married in a lavish ceremony in February 2023. On August 20, 2024, just a day after their Rakhi celebration, Insha posted a photo of her husband Ankit on her Instagram account. She informed her fans about his sudden death at the age of just 29. The caption above the photo read: “In loving memory of Ankit Kalra. 3/24/1995 – 8/19/2024”.

On August 23, 2024, Insha posted a selfie with Ankit on her Instagram account when they became twins in white. Along with the picture, she wrote a note about how she could never get over the pain of losing Ankit and how short her 1.5 year journey was. In her words:

“Ankit, you left me to be with God and that is so unfair. Our year and a half together was far too short. That morning I had no idea it would be our last. I am still in denial and praying that this is all just a horrible dream and I will wake up by your side. Your heart gave up and with it my life ended. We had so many plans and now I am lost without you. This can't be true. You left me behind and that is a loss I will never get over! Heaven is so lucky to have you.”
