During the lie detector test, Sanjay Roy told the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) that he had visited a red-light district with his friend a few hours before the crime. However, he claimed that he had not had sex.

According to India Today, Sanjay Roy also confessed to harassing another person on the street.

According to the channel, Sanjay Roy video called his girlfriend and asked her for nude photos.

On the night of the crime, Sanjay Roy was having a drink with his friend. Later, they went to the red light area. Later, they went to Chetla, another red light area in South Kolkata.

On the way to Chetla they are said to have harassed a girl.

They later returned to the hospital. Sanjay Roy then went into the corridor near the seminar room at 4:03 am.

After allegedly raping and killing the woman, he went to the house of his friend Anupam Dutta, a police officer, India Today reported.

Meanwhile, a TOI report claimed that Sanjay Roy gave misleading answers which were detected by the lie detector.

The CBI prepared a psychoanalytic profile of the accused, which revealed that he was severely addicted to pornography. Several porn clips were found on his phone.

The woman had gone to the seminar room to rest when she was raped and murdered. She had 25 external and internal injuries on her body and was suffocated.

The CBI is also investigating the role of the former vice-chancellor of the medical college, Dr Sandip Ghosh. He too was subjected to a lie detector test on Saturday.

Last week, the Supreme Court asked the Calcutta police why it took over 12 hours to register the FIR.

It was also said that Sandip Ghosh tried to portray the rape and murder as suicide.

The agency is also investigating allegations of financial irregularities against Sandip Ghosh.
