1 dead in shooting at gas station in Cincinnati

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – One person was killed in a shooting at a gas station early Monday morning, according to Cincinnati police.

It was reported at 2:49 a.m. at the BP gas station at 4545 Reading Road in Paddock Hills.

According to police, first responders found the shot person behind the counter.

The person was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and pronounced dead on arrival.

Police said they had arrested two BP employees.

They said they were unsure when the investigation began whether the shooting was preceded by a robbery.

However, it was confirmed that the person shot was not an employee.
