Eminem's daughter Hailie Jade makes tragic confession after hearing her father's 'stunning' new song

Eminem's daughter Hailie Jade has revealed that she “audibly sobbed” while listening to the “devastating” tracks dedicated to her on her father's new album.

At the beginning of the summer, Eminem – real name Marshall Bruce Mathers III – released his twelfth studio album “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)”..

The 19-track LP shot to number one in 16 countries and has been praised by fans for its open and unvarnished portrayal of the 51-year-old star's relationship with his eldest daughter Hailie Jade, 28.

For Eminem, who has children Hailie, Aliana Marie, 31, and Stevie, 22, with ex-wife Kimberly Anne “Kim” Scott, 49, using his children as the subject of his songs is nothing new.

Hailie herself is known to be the inspiration behind “Mockingbird” and “Hailie's Song” and now also behind 2024's “Somebody Save Me”.

The three-minute, 50-second track features lyrics from the perspective of the “Lose Yourself” singer, who died from drug addiction. They include: “Hailie, I'm so sorry / I know I wasn't there for your first guitar concert.”

“Didn’t walk you down the aisle / Missed the birth of your first child / Your first podcast, look down, sweetie / I’m so proud of what you’ve become.”

The track is accompanied by a music video that Hailie says she “doesn’t want to watch again.”

We talk about the music video for 'Somebody Save Me' on the Just a little shady On her podcast, which she shares with Brittany Ednie, Hailie began, “Speaking of things I've watched in the past week, and I guess I would say I watched it but I refused to watch it again – the music video for 'Somebody Save Me' is out and I watched that thing.”

“I don't think I can do it again,” she confessed. “I cry every time I hear it.”

“And actually Brittany put on the little commercial today and I was like, 'Can you turn that down? Are you trying to make me cry?'”

She later said the video – which includes clips of herself and her siblings – was “great” and then noted how “fun” it was to see clips from her childhood.

“It's a great video and it's fun to see snippets of us when we were younger, even 'Mockingbird,' but I can't even listen to that anymore without crying,” Hailie said.

“The older I get, the less I can listen to the songs, but it's fun to watch these clips – just not in this context.”

Later in the conversation, Hailie claimed that she also “audibly sobbed” when she heard another track on the record called “Temporary.”

“But when I watch the video again and listen to the songs, I feel like my parents put so much effort into raising me,” she explained.

“I didn't realize how bad things were, but now, as an adult looking back, it's so scary to think about it.”

The influencer added that this is why she became so “emotional” while listening to the songs and that she “feels for every one of her podcast listeners” who has “ever lost a loved one or an addict.”
