Man convicted of child abuse – 95.3 MNC

A man accused of sexually assaulting a girl has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Ren Crider, 25, of Goshen, was charged with eight counts of child molestation after pleading guilty to four counts.

According to the documents, Goshen Police received a report in March 2023 alleging that a 16-year-old Kentucky girl was sexually abused at the age of 13.

The girl had reportedly told her mother that the assaults had been occurring since she was seven years old and that she had had a romantic relationship with Crider in 2020 and that he had forced himself on her several times that summer.

However, Crider told police that the victim assaulted him on three separate occasions and then told him not to tell anyone. He was found guilty on three of the charges against him through a plea agreement.
