Police investigate pedestrian accident involving teenager in Easton

EASTON, Maryland — Police say a teenager was struck by a car in Easton on Saturday. The investigation is ongoing.

At approximately 8:30 p.m., Talbot County Sheriff's Office officers were called to Royal Farms in the 7000 block of Ocean Gateway for a report of a pedestrian being struck by a car. Initial investigation revealed that the incident occurred in the 7000 block of Dover Neck Road and that the juvenile pedestrian was taken to Royal Farms by family members to receive medical attention.

The youth was treated at the scene by emergency medical services and then transported to a medical facility by the Maryland State Police Flight Command for further treatment. We were informed that his condition is currently stable.
