The questionnaires were sent out on Monday morning, the first step in assembling the jury in the case in which 25-year-old Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa faces charges including murder, attempted murder, assault and possession of illegal ammunition.

The judge has rejected requests to move the trial out of Boulder County.

The jury is to be appointed by September 4th.
