What happened in the drive-by shooting in Salisbury?

On December 21, 2021, a drive-by shooting occurred at the West Side Cash Market, 811 West Road in Salisbury. Two victims who were standing outside the Cash Market waiting for groceries they had ordered from the store were struck by bullets.

One victim suffered a through-shot gunshot wound to the leg. The other victim was struck in the head and suffered a laceration where the bullet grazed the side of his head.

Wicomico County District Attorney Jamie L. Dykes said in a statement, “Gun violence is a plague on our community.
