Evening tour to notorious true crime scenes planned in southern Idaho

Like most states, Idaho has been the site of unspeakable crimes that have shaken communities and left lasting impressions on people decades later. For Idaho true crime fans, an event is planned for early September that will take participants around Boise to some of the city's most notorious crime scenes.

I always feel a little guilty when it comes to true crime stories because it feels kind of crappy to get upset about other people's unfortunate realities, but I just can't help it. I watch true crime shows almost every night and my wife is now completely addicted to them too.

The Boise Murder House, the murders of the University of Idaho students, and the murders and kidnappings of the Groene family are all crimes that Internet detectives discuss in podcasts and produce weekly low-budget documentaries.

First 48, Forensic files, Date line, People Magazine investigates, DisappearD, Unsolved mysteries, 20/20and other shows are always on TV. My mother made me watch these things from a young age, and Unsolved Mysteries was one of the first shows to introduce the world to the true crime genre.
