During two years of investigations into the Pee Dee case, several kilos of drugs and weapons were seized

DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Thanks to a two-year investigation in Darlington County, several pounds of drugs and weapons were taken off the streets.

The Darlington County Combined Drug Unit, along with other agencies, executed several search warrants on Monday near Sequoia Drive, Gallowaytown Road and Southside Drive in the Hartsville area.

During the searches, drug agents seized 2.6 pounds of cocaine, about 8.6 pounds of marijuana, about 3.4 ounces of crack cocaine and seven firearms, according to a press release from the Darlington County Sheriff's Office.

The searches also led to the arrest of Wayne McDaniel, Jasmine Williamson, Jeanette Ceasar and Adrian Ceasar.

Officers charged all four with possession of 28 grams or less of marijuana or 10 grams or less of hashish, which was the first offense.

At the time of writing, all were still being held at the Darlington County Detention Center.

The Darlington County Sheriff's Office said the investigation is ongoing and additional charges may follow.

The Hartsville Police Department, South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, Hartsville Fire Department and Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office assisted with the search warrants.
