The wife of famous TV judge Mathis files for divorce after 39 years of marriage

Nationwide — Linda Mathis, the wife of TV judge Greg Mathis, has filed for divorce after 39 years of marriage. The couple, who separated on July 17, cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for ending their marriage.

Their four children – Jade, Camara Mathis Webb, Greg Mathis Jr. and Amir Mathis – are all adults, so they don't have to worry about child support or custody, according to TMZ.

However, Linda is seeking spousal support and has asked the court to deny Greg any spousal support in return. It was unclear if a prenuptial agreement was involved.

Greg and Linda Mathis were married in June 1985, shortly after Greg graduated from college. Both graduated from Eastern Michigan University. Greg later rose to fame with his television court show, which began 14 years after their wedding.

Most recently, her family was featured on the reality series “Mathis Family Matters,” which premiered two years ago. There has been speculation that reality TV may have influenced their decision to go their separate ways.
