Memorial service for men who died in car crash with social media model

MIAMI – On Monday night, the victims of a terrible crash The families remembered those left behind in grief and with broken hearts.

Relatives of Abraham Ismael and his friend Jesus Rubio gathered for a memorial service at Amelia Earhart Park near Hialeah.

“When I pick up the ashes, I think: That is not my brother, that is not my brother! I can't explain how much pain I feel,” said Sylvya Molina, Ismael's sister.

His family remembers him as someone who would do anything to help others – and as a devoted father to his 16-year-old son.

“An incredible brother, an incredible father, an incredible son. The best brother I could have on this planet. He is my everything. He is my only brother and I have nothing now,” Molina said.

The fatal accident that killed Ismael and Rubio occurred shortly after 6:30 a.m. on August 10.

According to police, the 24-year-old Maecee Lathersan Instagram model, was driving at 80 miles per hour when she collided with a car that caused the impact to smash into Ismael's car.
Ismael's fiancée Juanita was the only survivor in the car.

According to police, Lathers was driving without a license and admitted to being under the influence of a drug called “tusi,” also known as pink cocaine.

According to investigators, she also tried to leave the scene of the accident.

The social media influencer has posted bail and is now under house arrest.

The families of Ismael and Rubio are now picking up the pieces and say she should have stayed behind bars.

“She has made our lives difficult. She needs to go to prison for the rest of her life,” Molina said.

Lathers faces several charges, including two counts of vehicular manslaughter.
