Off-duty police officer allegedly urinated on woman at Kenny Chesney concert – NECN

An off-duty police officer was arrested after allegedly urinating on a woman at the Kenny Chesney concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts this weekend.

NBC10's Boston affiliate WJAR reported that Foxborough police were called to the concert's sandpit around 9:15 p.m. Saturday on a report of a man urinating on a woman's shoes.

The woman told police she felt a warm liquid touch her leg and when she turned around, Shane Lynch was standing behind her.

Lynch, the accused in this incident, is a police officer in Cranston, Rhode Island, and was off-duty during the concert, police told WJAR.

According to the police report, the woman said Lynch had the zipper of his shorts unzipped and she saw him peeing on her boots, WJAR reports. She alerted security about the incident and Lynch appeared to be heavily intoxicated when they approached him.

Lynch is charged with disturbing the peace and criminal damage, WJAR reports. It is not immediately clear if he has an attorney who could comment on his behalf regarding those charges.

NBC10 Boston has reached out to Foxborough Police for more information. We have no comment from Lynch at this time.
