Israeli attacks have killed more than 40,000 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip in the 320 days since October 7.

Among them are almost 17,000 children. That is 2.6 percent of all the children currently dead in Gaza.

Since October 7, at least 53 children have been killed every day and 72 men and women have been killed every day in Israeli attacks.

At least 10,000 people are missing under the rubble, most of them are presumed dead.

Madison Square Garden in New York City is a famous indoor arena. Its total capacity is 19,500 people.

The number of people killed in Gaza would fill Madison Square Garden twice.

If 40,000 people were to stand close together in Paris, the first would be at Notre Dame and the last at Versailles. The line would be 24 kilometers long.

An average person walking at 5 km/h would take 12 hours to walk from the beginning to the end of this chain.

To cover these 60 kilometers, a sedan traveling at 50 km/h would need 72 minutes to cover the entire distance. That's more than an hour's drive time.

Of the 40,000 people killed, 18.4 percent were women and 33 percent were children.

Almost half of Gaza’s two million inhabitants before October 7 were children.

Of the more than 40,000 fatalities, almost 17,000 are children. They could fill 550 classrooms.

More than 500 schools used as emergency shelters were attacked by Israel, most of them damaged or destroyed.

During the ten months of war, Palestinian children in the Gaza Strip missed an entire school year.
