Video of pickup truck linked to March murder in Sanger released

Homicide detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff's Office say this pickup truck may be connected to a murder in Sanger.

According to FCSO, it could be either a GMC or a Chevrolet.

The truck is described as light colored, with some discoloration on the passenger side of the extended cab.

It also features black rims, oversized tires and a loud exhaust system.

According to FCSO, officers responded to a call about 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2024, reporting shots fired in the 3100 block of South Indianola Avenue in Sanger.

There they found 43-year-old Cesar Quezada of Sanger, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Deputies and emergency services attempted life-saving measures, but Quezada died.

According to FCSO, Quezada was in an unused van parked on the property when he was shot.

Investigators believe that this was an isolated incident and not a random act of violence.
