Man shot in thigh during fight in restaurant in Chicago's Andersonville district

CHICAGO (CBS) – A man was shot during an argument at an Andersonville restaurant Monday night.

At 9:10 p.m., a 22-year-old man was inside a restaurant on Clark Street at Bryn Mawr Avenue when several other men approached him, police said. Police tape was seen cordoning off the restaurant, Primo Pizza, 5600 N. Clark St.

One of the men in the group got into an argument with the first man, pulled out a gun and shot him several times, police said.

The victim was shot once in the thigh and taken to Ascension St. Francis Hospital in Evanston in good condition, police said.

No one was in custody late Monday evening. The Belmont Area Criminal Investigation Department is investigating.
