Jennings man accused of breaking into Rocket Drive Inn; police seek second suspect

JENNINGS, Louisiana (KPLC) – A Jennings man has been arrested and police are looking for another suspect following a break-in at a drive-thru restaurant in Jennings.

On August 24, just after 1:30 a.m., someone broke into the Rocket Drive Inn, according to Jennings police.

Joshua Musser, 33, was arrested the next day after police spotted him on the street and recognized him from surveillance footage, authorities said.

The following charges were brought against Musser:

  • Simple burglary (2 cases)
  • theft
  • Serious simple criminal damage to property
  • Distribution or possession of a prescription drug without a prescription

According to a Facebook post from the Rocket Drive Inn, Musser and a second suspect were spotted on security cameras returning to the drive-in around 2:40 a.m.

Jennings police said they are still searching for the second suspect. They are asking anyone who can identify him to contact Jennings police.
