Any illness that caused Herro to miss games, through h

Unfortunately, it's true that injuries have been as big a part of Tyler Herro's NBA career as his great bubble run, his Sixth Man of the Year award, and his constant presence in transfer rumors.

Last season, Herro missed 40 games due to knee and foot injuries, and during the 2023 playoffs, he missed virtually the Heat's entire road to the Finals after breaking his hand in the first game of the playoffs.

Injuries played such a big part in Herro's story that Pat Riley went so far as to call him “fragile” at the end of the season.

The thing is, it wasn't a recurring injury or lingering problem that led to this vulnerability. Unusual injuries with long recovery times sidelined Herro for much of his time with the Miami Heat.

Here are all the injuries that have kept Herro out at times throughout his career.

Right foot: Herro was sidelined from February 26 to April 4 with a right foot injury that was the result of a strain sustained at the end of a February 23 game in New Orleans.

shoulder: Herro missed 18 consecutive games from November 11 to December 16 because of a shoulder injury.

Right hand: Herro missed all but one of the Heat's 2023 playoff games after breaking his right hand while diving for a loose ball in the team's first playoff game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Achilles: Herro missed three consecutive games in the 2023 season due to Achilles tendon pain.

Right ankle: Herro missed eight consecutive games from November 7-21, 2022 after spraining his right ankle.
