Woman dies after being thrown from car in Warren County crash

MCMINNVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A two-vehicle crash left one woman dead and another potentially facing charges in Warren County Sunday night.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to a crash on U.S. Highway 70 South and Bethany Road around 5:30 p.m. involving a Ford Expedition and a Chevrolet van.

According to THP, 58-year-old Kendra Marquis was driving her Expedition on Highway 70 when 44-year-old Amanda McCormick ran a stop sign on Bethany Road in her van and struck the passenger side of the Expedition. The accident caused the Expedition to roll over several times and Marquis was ejected from the vehicle.

According to THP's report, Marquis succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident. She was not wearing a seat belt.

McCormick was not injured but could face charges once the THP investigation is complete.
