Bullhead City Authorities Ask for Help in Finding a Dog Following a Biting Incident Near Riverview Drive | The Buzz – The Buzz in Bullhead City – Lake Havasu City – Kingman – Arizona – California

BULLHEAD CITY, Arizona – Animal control officers for the City of Bullhead City are currently searching for a dog involved in a biting incident in order to conduct standard quarantine procedures following the incident.

The incident occurred on Sunday, August 25, at approximately 3:30 p.m. Animal control officers were alerted and immediately dispatched to Exceptional Community Hospital, where the victim, a 58-year-old woman, was treated for a dog bite to the arm and hand.

The victim reported that the incident occurred when she was on her way to a nearby gym in the area of ​​Riverview Drive and Miracle Mile. According to reports, a large dog with long fur and tan/light brown color approached her aggressively, lunged at her and bit her. After the incident, she immediately went to the hospital to get medical attention after keeping enough distance from the dog.

Despite intensive patrols in the area, animal control officers have been unable to locate the dog in question and quarantine him as part of standard protocol.
