Detained former Deputy Senate President Ekweremadu in fresh trouble in UK as new case emerges

Nigeria's former deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu, who was sentenced to ten years in prison last year for human trafficking, is being investigated by London's Metropolitan Police in a new case related to him.

According to a documentary titled “Daniel vs. Ekweremadu,” the police are investigating a case involving Ekweremadu, but few details about the case are known because the investigation is still ongoing.

The documentary reveals that a woman was arrested in November 2022 on suspicion of conspiracy to harvest organs, but has since been released pending investigation.

Police have declined to comment on the case due to ongoing investigations, but the documentary sheds light on the circumstances surrounding Ekweremadu's conviction and his fall from deputy Senate President to convict.

The two-part docuseries offers exclusive access to British prosecutors, police and the family of the survivor and victim, known as “Daniel”. It is available on streaming platforms and is produced by Chude Jideonwo Presents, a documentary and series studio.
