UPDATE:

State College police released new details Tuesday about Monday's two-vehicle crash that involved a motorcycle.

According to police, the 22-year-old motorcyclist, who was flown to UPMC Altoona, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The identity of the driver is not yet being released, but in their press release officials described the man as “a male local resident.”

They say a 73-year-old male driver of a Toyota Prius collided with the motorcycle at the intersection of E. College Avenue and Struble Road. Police add that the driver of the Prius was treated at the scene for only minor injuries.
