Two people charged in Forestville drug investigation | News, Sports, Jobs

FORESTVILLE – Two men face drug charges after cocaine and fentanyl were seized in the hamlet.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office, an investigation into drug activity over the past five months in Forestville ended Friday with drug agents from the Sheriff's Office, Dunkirk and Jamestown police departments executing a search warrant at 10925 Dennison Road.

At the time of the search, Joshua Vanbuskirk, 33, of Forestville, and Franklin Silvagnia, 25, of Silver Creek were in the apartment.

As a result of the search, investigators seized 14.8 grams of crack cocaine, 12.79 grams of fentanyl, scales and packaging materials used in the sale and distribution of narcotics, and $1,055. Both Vanbuskirk and Silvagnia were charged with four counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

Vanbuskirk and Silvagnia were both transported to the Chautauqua County Jail to be arraigned under the centralized prosecution program.
