Nelson will appear in Douglas County Court at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday

Beavercreek Police report that “a social media post led to the discovery of Nelson’s whereabouts.”

They say police were able to use license plate readers to track her as she headed toward Nebraska.

Authorities believe Nelson is connected to the death of a 50-year-old Ohio man who was killed around 9 p.m. on August 22.

A press release said a weapon seized from Nelson's vehicle was likely used in the murder.

Beavercreek police plan to return Nelson to Ohio as soon as possible to face trial.
