Memphis, Tennessee murder suspect falls through ceiling while US Marshals search for him

Authorities searching for a man suspected of murder found him falling through the ceiling of a Tennessee home, officials said.

On Monday, the US Marshals Service (USMS) arrested Deario Wilkerson, 20, who was suspected of shooting a victim found dead in Memphis, Tennessee, on April 2says a press release from the US Marshals Service.

On May 9, police issued an arrest warrant for Wilkerson on charges of first-degree murder and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon. The case was investigated by the U.S. Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF).

Trying to hide

On Monday, the TRVFTF Wilkerson to a home in Memphis. With assistance from the Shelby County Sheriff's Office and the Memphis Police Department Fugitive Apprehension Team, deputies surrounded the area.

Wilkerson was attempting to hide in the attic while the USMS searched the house when he fell through the ceiling. He was unharmed in the fall and was taken into custody.
