Russian aerial bomb kills family in Donetsk region

On August 28, the Russians dropped an aerial bomb on Izmailivka in the Donetsk region, killing the entire family – the parents, aged 45 and 53, and their 17-year-old son and 24-year-old daughter. The people died buried under the rubble.

As Ukrinform was able to see, the Prosecutor General's Office published this on Facebook.

The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation into violation of the laws and customs of war.

According to the investigation results, on August 28, Russian armed forces dropped an aerial bomb on the village of Izmailivka in the Pokrovsk district.

The bomb targeted a private sector and hit a house. The entire family died under the rubble, their bodies were recovered by a rescue team.

Prosecutors are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by Russian armed forces.
