Guardian of murdered teenager arrested for murder

In connection with the death of 16-year-old Jibreal Payne, Baltimore Police investigators have arrested the victim's guardian, 51-year-old Johnnie Teague.

On August 27, a warrant was issued for Teague's arrest. On August 28, investigators arrested Johnnie Teague at his home in the 400 block of North Clinton Street without incident.

Detectives took Teague to the Homicide Unit for a briefing and then to the Central Reception Facility, where he will be charged with first-degree murder.
