Yamraj has problems with Indian potholes

The monsoon brings waterlogging and potholes. In India, this is a sign that the monsoon is here.

The problem with potholes, however, is that they cause many traffic accidents and make people's everyday lives much more difficult.

It has often happened that a bicycle unfortunately fell into a pothole during rush hour and caused a life-threatening accident.

To create awareness and attract an audience, a group of social activities in Udupi, Karnataka came up with some ideas.

The incident occurred on the Adi Udupi-Malpe road, which connects Udupi to the famous Malpe beach.

The activists were dressed as Yamraj and Chitragupt, and some others as dead people. They measured the potholes and made long jumps over them.

The video spread rapidly on “X”, formerly known as Twitter.

Both Yamraj and Chitragupt measured their jumps with measuring tapes. The staged performance attracted a lot of attention from the spectators who had gathered to watch them perform. On social media, local people started asking the authorities about the circumstances.

The main aim of this performance was to attract attention, which they succeeded in doing.
