Channing Tatum says this famous movie quote is said to him “every time” he goes through airport security

Channing Tatum finds a little humor in a recurring travel experience.

Tatum goes on to say that the famous quote even comes up during airport security checks.

“I've never gone through TSA without someone saying, 'My name is Jeff,'” he says. “Almost every time I go through TSA.”

At the beginning of August, the actor already told another funny travel story – but this time it was about his 11-year-old daughter's love of the paranormal.

At a performance on Late Night with Seth MeyersTatum recalled taking a trip to Salem, Massachusetts, with his daughter Everly, whom he has with ex-wife Jenna Dewan, because she was “possessed” by witches.

“She'd been wanting to go to Salem for maybe seven years,” he said of the New England town known for its infamous witch trials. “And when we got there, I thought, 'Maybe this is one of those moments where she says, 'Oh, it's not what I thought.' You know?”

He continued: “It's like the idea of ​​going to Egypt and thinking that there are just mummies walking around all the time. And I thought, 'Maybe she'll just be less fascinated.'”

Despite his hopes, Tatum said his daughter became involved in all the spooky activities after her arrival, including her stay at the “haunted” Hawthorne Hotel in Salem.

“They said, 'Don't go to the third or sixth floor,'” Tatum recalled the hotel staff warning him at the time. Although the actor was more than willing to follow their advice, he said Everly couldn't stay away from the haunted floor.

“My daughter just said, 'Let's just go up a little bit. So, let's just go up and walk up the stairs and look around for a second and then walk back down,'” he said.

“No. That's not it. I'm just saying, 'Go up there,'” Tatum told host Seth Meyers, shaking his head emphatically.
