Rod Stewart clarifies the state of his marriage with Penny Lancaster.

The rocker reacted on social media to a recent Daily Mail Article claiming the couple's marriage had reached an “impasse” and they were divided over where to live, with Penny preferring to stay in the UK and Rod changing his mind about selling his Beverly Hills mansion.

Well, Rod denies the allegations.

“Despite erroneous articles in the Daily Mail and other tabloids that followed suit, we wanted to set the record straight,” Rod wrote in a Note on social media“There is absolutely no rift between Penny and me and no disagreement about where we should live, on the contrary.”

Rod points out that they returned to the UK permanently a year ago but still own homes in various countries.

“We originally thought it would make sense to sell our house in LA, but after spending a wonderful summer with family and friends while I was in Vegas, we realized it made sense to keep our house there,” he said.

“Penny and I couldn't be more in love after 27 glorious years,” Rod added. “Please trust me… there is no disharmony in our marriage.”

He then signed the note, “Rod, 'a very lucky man', Stewart.”

Rod and Penny have been together since 1999 and married in 2007. They have two sons together, Alastairborn in 2005, and Aidenborn in 2011.
