Bethesda releases roadmap for Fallout 76 Milepost Zero

The next major update for Fallout 76 is just around the corner and almost ready for release. It's called Milepost Zero – Country Road and it brings a whole host of new changes to the Fallout 76 platform, including new camp mechanics, an interesting quest loop, and various quality of life upgrades and tweaks.

Bethesda Game Studios has just released a roadmap highlighting what's happening in Fallout 76 through the end of 2024.

What's next for Fallout 76?

Fallout 76 has a packed schedule ahead of it, but fans will not be pleased to find that it is the same old events on repeat. Aside from the deployment of Milepost Zero, there is nothing too special planned for the MMORPG title of Fallout.

Milepost Zero launches globally on September 3rd, and users flock to the platform in the middle of the month to take part in a Double XP Weekend event. October is all about Halloween, as the spooky Scorched roams the hills of Appalachia. This month also marks Fallout Day, and fans celebrate Bombs Drop Day on October 23rd.

In November, an “Invaders From The Beyond” event begins, followed by Fallout 76's regularly scheduled birthday celebration, which takes place on November 14th. Finally, in December, players can enjoy the typical “Holiday Scorched” event as well as numerous “Double Mutations” and “Double XP” events.
