This is what “Prison Break” is about – Seasons 1 to 5

When it first aired on TV, the prison escape drama about a man who gets himself locked up to free his innocently imprisoned brother was a mega hit. No wonder – the elaborate, clever plan, the diverse and also terrifying characters, the lovely love story in the middle and, above all, the constant tension were great, especially in the very first season. But the other seasons of the series are also impressive. After a break of a few years, a fifth comeback season was filmed and released.

These three stars thrilled in “Prison Break”

Above all, Wentworth Miller impressed with his charismatic performance as Michael J. Scofield – the brother who voluntarily goes to prison with a clever escape plan. Dominic Purcell also did a good job as the beefier counterpart in the role of Lincoln “Linc” Burrows. Funnily enough, the two were later seen together again in the superhero series “Legends of Tomorrow”. The woman with whom Michael slowly but carefully develops a relationship? Was played by Sarah Wayne Callies, who we later also saw as Lori in “The Walking Dead”.
