The Royal had a difficult start to the new season in LaLiga, won only one of his first three gamesBetween frustrating away games against RCD Mallorca and La Palmas, there was just one unconvincing win against Real Valladolid, in which the superstar signed in the summer failed to make an impression.

Kylian Mbappé has yet to score a single La Liga goal in his three appearances for Madrid, raising fears that he may not be able to fully thrive in Carlo Ancelotti's system. The Frenchman played as a centre forward and has not managed to find the freedom necessary to fully exploit his incredible talent.

However, Mbappé’s true potential will only be revealed in the big games and he already has an impressive record in the Champions League. The 25-year-old has 48 goals and 26 assists in the Champions League and is confident that this figure will increase by many more in the Spanish capital.
