“Worst Ex Ever” is currently the number one series on Netflix and the fourth episode is set in Everett, Washington.

The title of the episode is “Married to a monster” and the description is:

“Amanda and Kevin's seemingly perfect romance falls apart when the marriage reveals his controlling nature. After their divorce, a gruesome murder plot emerges.”

The episode begins with beautiful aerial shots of Everett, followed by Amanda's experience with Kevin Lewis.

There are interviews with Amanda, her friends, her brother, her nanny, Kevin's friend and the prosecutors.

You hear the 911 calls and Amanda's story of how she had to live in hiding for a year after the attempted murder. We also learn how the investigators were able to put the pieces of the puzzle together to arrest everyone involved in the attempted murder and see the police interrogation of the killer.

Investigators received a tip from “Angelica,” also known as Alexis Hale, who bragged that she and her boyfriend Jerradon Phelps had killed someone. Jerradon Phelps is Kevin Lewis' cousin.

Investigators were able to track Snapchat videos from Angelica and data from both phones showed her driving from Spokane to Everett, stopping at Kevin's house and continuing on to Amanda's house. Neighborhood cameras and a surveillance camera from MarijuanaClub99 on Evergreen Way also helped law enforcement.

Those who discover this story on Netflix will be happy to know that Kevin, his hitman and his accomplice ended up behind bars. Kevin was recently sentenced to life in prison following a Supreme Court ruling.
