Two days after her husband, longtime Dancing With the Stars pro Artem Chigvintsev, was arrested for domestic violence, Nikki Garcia left the house without her wedding ring.

The former WWE wrestler, formerly known as Nikki Bella, was seen without the piece of jewelry on August 31 while taking a private flight from Oakland, California.

During the outing, which marked her first public appearance since Artem's arrest, Nikki was photographed unloading luggage from an SUV with a friend while holding a tablet for the couple's son, Matteo, 4, and a drink before boarding the plane.

Chigvintsev was arrested in Napa on Aug. 29 and charged under California Penal Code Section 273.5(a) for causing injury to a spouse or domestic partner, according to records viewed by E! News. He was later released on $25,000 bail.

“When someone is charged with domestic violence, it usually means there is a visible injury or a credible eyewitness,” “a spokesman for the Napa County Sheriff's Department told E! News the day of the arrest.”

“Our officers had no problem arresting him for domestic violence.”

Before being taken into custody, Chigvintsev called 911 for medical assistance and told the dispatcher that Garcia had thrown shoes at him after they got into an argument, according to a radio call obtained by TMZ. The dispatcher also confirmed that “a child was on the scene.”

Although Chigvintsev tried to call the paramedics back, the police still arrived at the house.

To protect the privacy of victims of domestic violence, police are not releasing the name, gender or age of the alleged victim, nor his relationship to 42-year-old Chigvintsev or the location of the incident that led to his arrest.

Chigvintsev, who will be leaving Dancing With the Stars for season 33, has not yet commented publicly on the matter. E! News has reached out to his rep and has not received a response.

Garcia's rep told E! News on August 30: “This is a private matter and Nikki requests privacy for herself and her family.”

Garcia, 40, had noted on social media a day earlier that she was in Napa, where her family owns a $1.5 million home, and wrote in her Instagram stories that she had treated herself to a facial at a medical spa in the city.

Three days before his arrest, Garcia and Chigvintsev posted mutual tributes on social media to mark their second wedding anniversary.

“Happy anniversary, my love”, The Strictly Come Dancing star wrote to his wife on Instagram on August 26.

“I can't imagine my life without you. You are my everything.”

In her tribute, Garcia quoted lyrics from Elvis Presley’s “I can’t help but fall in love.”

“I will never forget where I was when I asked Jesus about Artem,” she wrote.

“I'm having a conversation with Him and God. How my feelings felt too soon. It all felt too fast. And then that song came on. And that's when I knew I was falling in love with him and that it was all meant to be. Happy anniversary @theartemc I love you.”
