Fans are excited about Krispy Kreme’s special collaboration “for the girls”

Krispy Kreme is gearing up for another special collaboration – and fans are excited about it.

To celebrate the Barbie doll's milestone birthday, the doughnut company has created a handful of treats to celebrate the iconic toy, which turned 65 earlier this year. Food blogger Markie Devo showed a preview of the four new items on Instagram on Saturday, August 31st.

The Barbie Sweet 65th is expected to be an original Krispy Kreme glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing with pastel sprinkles, while the Barbie Pink Doughnut is also planned to be a glazed doughnut with pink icing, pink sugar and a special sugar plate in the style of Barbie sunglasses.

While one fan called the treats “sweet 🥺,” another Instagram user said he “definitely wants to try them 😋.”

The Barbie doughnuts will be sold in six-packs at some grocery stores, but as of the food blogger's August 31 post, no specific details were available on where and when the packs would be available. The new treats are reportedly set to hit the market in early September.
