The Zamboanga City Government has offered a P300,000 reward to three police stations of the Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) for the successful arrest of suspects in four shootings in less than a month.

Mayor John Dalipe presented the P100,000 cash reward to each of the three police stations after the flag-raising ceremony in front of City Hall on Monday, September 2.

The rewards were received by Lt. Col. Hartzel Peter Billedo, chief of the City Intelligence Unit, Police Major Xyrone Caronan, acting chief of Zamboanga City Police Station 6 (ZCPS6), and Police Major Ramon Aquiatan Jr., acting chief of ZCPS7.

Police Colonel Kimberly Molitas, Deputy Director of the ZCPO, was present at the presentation of the cash rewards.

“As part of our ongoing support, we offer incentives and rewards to police stations for their performance,” Dalipe said.

Meanwhile, Dalipe ordered the ZCPO to identify and arrest the suspects in the shootings on Sunday, September 1.

Three people, including a woman, were killed while two others were injured in twin shootings in Zamboanga City on Sunday, September 1.
