Injury at Notre Dame leads to roster changes ahead of Northern Illinois game

Notre Dame is fresh off an impressive road win over Texas A&M and now heads home to open the 2024 portion of the schedule at Notre Dame Stadium with a game against Northern Illinois.

Notre Dame, of course, must avoid disappointment against a Northern Illinois team that is traveling east to South Bend for the first time from its friendly hometown of DeKalb.

Notre Dame has released its roster for the game, focusing on the wide receiver and punt returner positions after Jordan Faison left Saturday's game with what Marcus Freeman called an ankle injury.

Below is Notre Dame's updated depth chart for the week in Northern Illinois.
