Now available for pre-order: “The Crow” (2024) in limited 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Steelbook (+ Keep Case)

Get your hands on the new film “The Crow” (2024) now as a limited 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Steelbook! The collector’s edition and the regular Keep Case / Amaray will be released on January 24, 2024.

Before the official cinema release on September 12, 2024, you can listen to the new film adaptation of “The Crow” on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the first online shop. As befits such a hotly anticipated film adaptation, this film collector's item is also offered in a limited and hopefully stylish steelbook version. All versions will probably only be delivered as pre-orders on January 24, 2025. Unfortunately, there is no information yet about the features or the final images of the versions. However, we hope for a high-quality 4K master and that Leonine may incorporate the IMAX scenes from the film into the disc exploitation. But that shouldn't stop home cinema enthusiasts from pre-ordering:

The Crow 2024 on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray

The remake is being released 30 years after the original, which was released in German cinemas on July 28, 1994. The film was overshadowed by the death of the lead actor Brandon Lee, who died in an accident on the set. Bill Skarsgård, who already shone in the role of Pennywise in the reinterpretations of “It” (2017) and “IT Chapter 2” (2019), is following in his footsteps. In terms of content, the film adaptation will hopefully stay close to the comic book by James O'Barr. For those who don't know the story yet, it can be briefly summarized as follows:

Short description “The Crow” (2024)

“Shortly before Halloween, Eric Draven (Bill Skarsgård) and his fiancée Shelley (FKA Twigs) are attacked and murdered by a brutal gang.” But Eric is revived by a mysterious crow and endowed with supernatural powers. Driven by a desire for revenge, he sets out to bring those responsible for the bloodshed to justice.”

Interesting random fact: Brandon Lee was the son of the famous Bruce Lee and his wife Linda Lee Cadwell. He also appeared in several Bruce Lee film adaptations.
