Krispy Kreme Barbie Donuts: Check out the limited-time collection

Barbie is celebrating its 65th birthday this year and Krispy Kreme has teamed up with the brand to introduce a new doughnut collection to celebrate the occasion.

Starting Tuesday, four brand-new doughnuts with “unique designs and amazing flavors inspired by Barbie” will be available for a limited time at participating stores.

The collection, called Barbie x Krispy Kreme Collection, comes in a limited edition box and contains:

  • Barbie Pink Donut: An original glazed donut, covered in pink buttercream, sprinkled with glittery pink sugar and garnished with Barbie sunglasses.
  • Malibu Dream Party Donut: An unglazed donut filled with Cake Batter Kreme, dipped in Malibu blue glaze and glittery graham sand, topped with a Barbie DreamHouse piece and decorated with a white cloud.
  • Barbie Berry Cream Donut: An unglazed donut filled with strawberry cream, dipped in white glaze, drizzled with purple and pink buttercream and garnished with a Barbie heart.
  • Sweet 65th Donut from Barbie: An original glazed donut dipped in chocolate glaze and garnished with Barbie Sweet 6th sprinkles.

“Barbie and Krispy Kreme are two brands that spark instant joy and evoke fond memories,” said Meredith Norrie, vice president of global licensing and consumer products at Mattel, in the press release. “Krispy Kreme is the perfect partner for us and invites fans of all generations to enjoy the perfect blend of taste and style, with a nod to Barbie in every bite.”

The collaboration also includes limited edition Barbie Fashionista dolls

In addition to the doughnuts, Krispy Kreme has “special treats for randomly selected fans,” including a limited number of Barbie Fashionista dolls, the press release said.

The dolls include custom Krispy Kreme accessories, including a Krispy Kreme paper hat. Additionally, Krispy Kreme says each doll also comes with a custom adult-sized Barbie x Krispy Kreme denim jacket.

To participate in the raffle for the dolls and jackets, you have two options:

  • From September 4-6, any fan who comments on the “Barbie x Krispy Kreme” social contest post on Krispy Kreme’s social channels (@krispykreme on Instagram) and tags a friend will be entered into a separate sweepstakes for a chance to win.
  • From September 6-8, Krispy Kreme Rewards members who purchase a dozen Barbie x Krispy Kreme at participating Krispy Kreme stores and scan their Krispy Kreme Rewards app at checkout will be automatically entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win. Krispy Kreme Rewards members may also enter without making a purchase. See the Official Rules for more details.

The promotion also includes the awarding of a free donut

All customers wearing pink who visit a participating Krispy Kreme store on Saturday, Sept. 7 can receive a free Original Glazed Doughnut, limited to one per customer in store and at the drive-thru, according to the doughnut chain.
